Cimarron Elementary School, located in Cimarron, Kansas, serves grades PreK through 6. Our September 20 enrollment for the 2013-2014 school year was 413 students.
Cimarron Elementary is proud of the academic excellence it has demonstrated over a long period of time. We look forward to moving ahead with the College Career Readiness Standards and our second year of State Assessments in the spring of 2015.
We strive every day to provide an environment which encourages physical activity and fosters development of a positive self-image and success in academics and the arts. We offer physical education and music classes every day for our Kindergarten through 6th grade students. Band classes are available for 5th and 6th grades.
The USD #102 Board of Education is dedicated to keeping our class sizes small. During the 2014-2015 school year, all classes will be under 20 students.
Construction of the new lementary addition is finally complete!. The fall of 2014 will fnd all of our 4th-6th grade classes and the ESL clas moved into the new rooms. Also, we will have full use of the new physical education facility.
For the first time we will find all of our prekindergarten classes on campus. This would include the Migrant and Head Start classes and the 4 year old Kinder-prep classes.
