Thanks to a grant from the American Academy of Dermatology, we are able to make Cimarron Elementary a safer place. We will build a permanent shade structure over parts of our new playground to protect our students/community/children from the sun. Seeking shade is an important way to reduce the risk of UV exposure where families live, learn, and play.

I am needing people to help with the GWAC track meet next Thursday, May 14th. The meet will begin at 3:00 pm with only 7 teams competing. It should last a real long time. Please contact Jeff Blattner if you can help with our track meet.
