Thanks to a grant from the American Academy of Dermatology, we are able to make Cimarron Elementary a safer place. We will build a permanent shade structure over parts of our new playground to protect our students/community/children from the sun. Seeking shade is an important way to reduce the risk of UV exposure where families live, learn, and play.

“LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL” reading challenge has begun! Our reading challenge is a school wide competition! Skates will be displayed on the wall all around the school to the FINISH LINE. Students who bring back completed skates will be rewarded…ROLLER SKATE STYLE! Top readers per grade (PreK-6th) who “skate” the most miles will pick a pair of ROLLER SKATES!
